South Carolina Requirements to Become a Registered Barber
- To qualify for barber training in South Carolina, you must:
• Must have at least a 9th grade education or equivalent
• Submit a student permit application along with required documents
• Complete 1,500 hours in a Board approved barber college
• Pass the state board exam after complepting the required hours
